The Sona FM 107.8 team conducted a narrowcasting at Nesakarangal Home Care, sponsored by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. This program aimed to raise awareness of vital issues related to senior citizens and their welfare.

This event also aimed to spread awareness about the Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana, focusing on the Senior Citizen Helpline Number - 14567. This helpline will assist senior citizens in accessing services, resolving grievances, and addressing their concerns.

The session provided a clear explanation of the scheme and included practical scenarios by sharing the benefits. The residents of Nesakarangal Home energetically participated in singing and dance sessions, reflecting a vibrant and joyful moment. The residents of the home performed a prayer song before lunch and enriched the entire experience for everyone.

As a token of goodwill and to promote sustainability, the Sona FM team distributed 30 eco-friendly carry bags to the residents.
